About Me
I believe that media has the power to build community and shape our understanding of the world around us. As a media and communication professional, my work has spanned web and graphic design, UX analysis, copy writing, social media management, photography, and audio production.
As a communications graduate of Saint Joseph's University and a media studies graduate student at Temple University, I take a critical approach to understanding the symbolic, cultural, economic, and political power media systems hold.
Creatively, I record and perform music in a variety of capacities and explore how we construct meaning from music through an audiovisual language comprised of aural production features like texture, space, and contrast as well as distinct graphic design mediums and styles. Most notably, this is with the band Betty Lawless as drummer and producer.I also enjoy photography and digital collage.
